Too often, youth are unable to comfortably express emotional challenges. The Youth Lens Photo Project serves as a catalyst for youth voice to be shared through pictures and personalized captions.

The project engages youth to create or relate to a photograph that reflects their opinions and views of stigma, isolation and prejudice.

"I reach out for you"

I cry out for you. I need help from you. I reach out for you.
My handprints are embedded on your door. Will you help me? Because, I reach out to you.

If you do not want to take an original picture, but still want to participate.  Just review the photos that we have provided and compose a caption that reflects your thoughts on how that picture relates to stigma, isolation or fear of being thought to be different.

Entries to CREATE or RELATE are open through March 31, 2015

A panel of youth and their adult allies will select ten national honorees.

The national honorees will receive $50 gift cards and be recognized during National Children's Mental Health Awareness Week May, 2015.
